How our content is written and checked

Every factual claim in our guides (fees, band conversions, marking criteria, registration rules) is checked against the official IELTS partnership sources before publishing:

• ielts.org: test format, band descriptors, One Skill Retake rules
• British Council Bangladesh and IDP Bangladesh: fees, dates, venues, registration procedure
• Cambridge official practice materials: raw-score-to-band conversion tables
• Our own platform data: practice-test catalogue counts and question-type distributions are measured directly from our own live practice catalogue, never estimated

Where a number can drift (exam fees track the USD–BDT exchange rate), the page says so explicitly and tells you to confirm with the provider before paying.

Every guide is written to one standard: it must be correct and genuinely useful. Before anything is published, the facts are checked against the official sources above, and any scoring claim is aligned with the published IELTS band descriptors. Every figure comes from an official source or from our own measured platform data. We do not publish an estimated or invented statistic.

• Fee and registration guides: reviewed monthly (fees change with exchange rates)
• Band conversion tables: reviewed when official practice materials change
• Practice catalogue pages: regenerated automatically whenever we add new tests
• Every guide shows a visible “Updated” date; if the date is stale, treat the facts with appropriate caution
