How do payments work?
Start free with no card at all. When you upgrade, checkout shows the payment methods available where you are, and your plan activates with an emailed receipt. You can cancel any time from Settings and keep the time you have paid for.

How much does IELTSLab cost?
The Free plan is free forever. In Bangladesh, Go is ৳499 a month and Ace is ৳699 a month, paid from bKash or Nagad. Everywhere else, Go is $6.99 a month and Ace is $9.99 a month, charged by card or PayPal in US dollars, and your bank does the conversion; in the EU and UK, VAT is added at checkout. In Bangladesh, three- and six-month lengths work out cheaper per month; card plans are monthly. Checkout shows you the exact price before you pay.
How do I pay?
In Bangladesh you pay from bKash or Nagad, in Taka, and we confirm the payment by hand, usually within minutes. Everywhere else you pay by card or PayPal. The price is in US dollars and your bank converts it, and in the EU and UK VAT is added at checkout. A card plan starts as soon as the payment clears and renews each month until you cancel. You get an emailed receipt either way.
What do I get on the Free plan?
Unlimited Reading and Listening practice, two AI Writing scores and one AI Speaking session per week, one full mock test per month, 30 vocabulary words a day and 7-day progress history. No card is required to sign up.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you keep your practice history on the Free plan afterwards. See our refund policy for details on refunds.
What is the difference between Go and Ace?
Go covers steady weekly practice: five AI Writing scores and five Speaking sessions per week, four mock tests a month, unlimited vocabulary, and every practice drill and analytics tool. Ace removes every limit: unlimited AI scoring and mock tests, plus band prediction across all four skills, "1 Band Higher" rewrites, band-9 model answers, a pronunciation lab, and a study plan built around your weak spots.
